We joined with Horsham German Club for our annual Carol Concert led by One Accord choir, where over 40 members and guests enjoyed singing carols in French, German and English.

The concert was followed by light refreshments and the chance to socialise. We were particularly pleased to welcome councillor Tony Bevis, Chairman of Horsham District Council and our de facto President.
On a very hot Saturday in July, some 15 members of the Horsham Twinning Association visited the Sussex Prairie Garden, near Henfield,
where we were welcomed by one of the owners, Pauline McBride. The first highlight was to climb up the tower of the main building to get a
spectacular overview of the gardens. We could fully appreciate the layout of the garden not only from the viewing platform, but also from the circular
openings in the wall (Pauline called them "woodpecker holes"), which created tantalizing cameos of the layout.
Then we scattered and tackled all the small paths threading through the groupings of colourful flowering plants and grasses. These were interspersed with a number of sculptures and other artistic features, the most impressive being the row of buffaloes marching along the edge of a raised area.
The visit ended with a cream tea in a shady covered area of the garden, much appreciated by our hot and thirsty group.

In May 2025 a group from Horsham visited Lage in Germany to mark 40 years of our twinning with the town.

A report and pictures of the visit can be read by clicking here.
